Who we are

Hen Fest is an amazing 2 day charity music, arts and beer  festival. It raises money

for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and The Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospital's

Charity. It will be held on 17th and 18th June 2016 in the beautiful water meadow

adjacent to Julian's Bridge in Wimborne, Dorset. BH21 1EH

Sadly, due to unforeseen circumstances, Bill Bryson will no longer be able to open Hen Fest. He Says -

I’m so sorry I can’t be with you to open Henfest 2016 but I hope you all have a

fantastic experience, enjoying the festivities, and don’t forget to give

generously to support the work of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust to lift the limits for

those who have the condition.”

Food and Fun

Hen Fest has a cheap bar, with superb real ales and cider from local breweries. It also sells delicious home made cakes, tea, coffee and luxury  ice cream. We have 'proper' festival caterers in for the whole week-end supplying a range of food - including breakfasts for campers! We also  have a range of stalls, a posh cocktails caravan, circus skills and face painting, a programme of arts and crafts activities for both adults and children; hand made jewellery along with the now infamous raffle with gobsmacking prizes.

Magical music

Hen Fest has always been lucky in securing some of the best musicians you are likely to hear. 2016 is no different. We are gobsmacked by the quality and standard of the acts that have signed up.  Music ranges from Folk, indie, skiffle, classical, rock and ska. The thing they all have in common is that they are some of the best artists in their field, and all bring a slice of originality to what they do. The line up is now up - go have a look!
